Hey guys, I’ve decided to get cross that the Parklife teaser ad - which is otherwise really well done and clever - sexualises the casting-off of the winter wookiee suit to dance naked around Centennial Park, with the gorgeous blonde girl sliding the scruffy carpet onesie sensually over her curves in a close shot. Would it have killed them to have a dude wookiee stripping off nearby whose human bum you could then also see? Or a bunch of regular-looking folks casting off the weight of the cold months to dance in the sun, but not in a way that’s all bow-chicka-wow-wow? I love going to Parklife, despite the often-insufferable clientele, but if they’re not so confident in the lineup that they feel an objectified naked lady is necessary in order to sell it, maybe I don’t need to bother this year.
